In modern time people are more prone to consuming junk food like wafers, bakery products, soft drinks etc. A lot of importance has to be given to children's diet as their physical and mental growth is rapid. They require adequate and the right kind of nutrition.  Fast foods do not contain proper nutrition and are not easily digestible. A healthy diet leads to a healthy and vital life and builds up our immunity.  To lead a full happy and healthy life one must not forget the bond between diet and health. 

Cashew Nut milk

Ingredients:

Cashew Nuts(soaked for 6-7 hours)

:

40 gms

Water

:

1 glass

Method:

- Grind the cashew nut in a blender to make a smooth paste then add water again for one minute and then sieve it.

Note: In winter add hot water to prevent the cream from being separated from the milk

Almond milk

Ingredients:

Almond (soaked for 6-7 hours)

:

10-12 nos

Water

:

1 glass

Method:

- Same procedure as cashew nut milk.

Note: You can make delicious fruit shakes by blending nut milk and fruits in a blender (sapota, mango, papaya, apple, banana etc). Dates or honey could be used as a sweeten agent in fruit shake.
