Giving a boost to the ongoing Mission Green Earth project, H.H.Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, and the Karnataka Minister for Higher Education, Aravind Limbavali planted a sapling at the Bangalore University.
The symbolic tree plantation enforces H.H.Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s commitment to safeguard the environment as well as promote sustainable, and eco-friendly practices, globally.
“We have to make a new society, one which takes responsibility, and which has a sense of belonging: ‘Our’ society, ‘our’ country’, and ‘our’ earth,” said H.H.Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
Over 10 million trees have been planted across the globe as part of the Mission Green Earth: Stand Up Take Actionproject, a joint initiative of the Art of Living, United Nations Millennium Campaign (UNMC), and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
