Through the ISA, the PM invited all countries located “fully or partly between the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn” to join the initiative which would operate from the National Institute of Solar Energy in Gurgaon, India, to not just reduce effects of global warming but also as a sustainable energy resource in countries with abundant solar energy.
Art of Living Foundation, in its 35 years of existence has recognised the runaway effects of climate change on the global environment, by launching multiple campaigns to prevent environmental degradation and appeals to the world-wide inter-faith community to congregate in affirming the ‘Declaration of Support to International Solar Alliance’.
