Gram Devtas, or leading local deities and their hundreds of followers from several villages around Bangalore City converged at The Art of Living International Center as a prelude to The World Culture Festival being organized at New Delhi between 11 and 13 March, 2016.
World Culture Festival celebrates Art of Living's 35 years of service to humanity inspired by founder Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
This is the first time, that about 3.5 million people from 155 countries will come together to celebrate human diversity and shared cultural values. More than 36,000 artists from 50 plus countries will perform during the three-day event. The event will be hosted on a stage built over 7 acres and the venue is the size of 1000 acres.
WCF will also host an Interfaith Meet and a leadership dialogue under the aegis of Global Leadership Forum bringing together several heads of state, business leaders, eminent religious and spiritual leaders from all over the globe to spread the message of communal harmony and peace.
