Sneh Milan
Entering its second chapter, Sneh Milan is an inter-faith congregation to boost peace and harmony amongst people of all religions.
For more than 30 years now, The Art of Living has worked towards Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s vision of spreading peace and unity amongst people around the world.
On the occasion of Christmas and New Year, Sneh Milan, an inter-faith congregation to spread love, trust and belongingness among people of different faiths and cultures will be held at the Art of Living International Center, Bangalore on December 18, 2014.
In the true spirit of the Art of Living, this event brings together communities and spiritual leaders to convey the message that we are all working for the betterment of humanity and that life is a celebration; that we are truly a One World Family.
Entering its second chapter this year, Sneh Milan will play host to dignitaries from countries such as Slovenia, Lithuania, Jordan, Norway, USA, and Hungary amongst others. Clerics, community leaders, eminent personalities, decision makers and the general public from several faiths including Hinduism, Islam, Christianity and Judaism are likely to attend the event.
A few of the noted speakers will include:
- MEP Alojz Peterle (Former Prime Minister of Slovenia/Member of European Parliament, European Union, India Committee 2014)
- MEP Vyautis Landsbergis (Former Prime Minister of Lithuania/ Former Member of European Parliament, European Union)

The first chapter of Sneh Milan (held in February 2014) witnessed guests from Iraq, Pakistan, Israel, Oman, Afghanistan and the UAE who spoke out in support of a peaceful and harmonious global society. Those present requested Gurudev to facilitate such inter-faith events more frequently.
With the world witnessing one of the worst genocides in human history, Sneh Milan will act as a bridge between different religions and boost relief support work.
Sneh Milan is an open-for-all event and will be hosted at The Art of Living International Center, Bangalore on December 18, 2014.
The event will culminate with a community meal.
