We all know what anger is and what it does. We have heard that anger can spoil relations, harm us and can put us at the risk of losing respect. Those who experience this intense emotion have also heard a million times ‘don’t get angry’. Very few ever would have got the answer to ‘how not to get angry’. Well, that’s what we will talk about today – ways to anger management.

  1. You can get angry, shout and be upset, but that should only be for as long as a line stays on the surface of the water. Then it is healthy.

  2. Anger is meaningless because it is always about something that is already in the past.

  3. Make your smile cheaper and anger expensive!

  4. Anger is a punishment you give to yourself for someone else’s mistake! Watch Gurudev talk about this:

  5. See a mistake as a mistake, not as “my” or “his or her” mistake. “my’ means guilt; “his or her” means anger.

  6. Whether it is greed, jealousy, anger, hatred or frustration, all these negative emotions can be healed or re-oriented through yoga.

  7. Your desire for perfection is the cause of anger. Leave room for imperfection. Perfection in action is almost impossible.

  8. Anger is not bad if it is under your control, and if you sparingly use it, it works.

  9. There is no use getting angry at something that has already happened. All you can do is your best to check it doesn’t happen again.
