Bangalore, June 15: Today, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Sri. Akhilesh Yadav called on Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at the Art of Living ashram and spent 55 minutes.
He was accompanied by the Samajwadi Party National Secretary and Karnataka in-charge, Mr. Rajeev Rai .
Among other topics discussed, Gurudev expressed his concern about the pollution in the river Ganga and the law and order situation in the country.
Sri. Akhilesh Yadav briefed Gurudev on the positive steps taken for both of these. Gurudev also shared the details of the Kumudavati river rejuvenation being taken up in Karnataka by volunteers of the Art of Living.
Sri. Akhilesh Yadav said that his trip to Karnataka would not be complete without visiting the Art of Living ashram.
