The Art of Living – Village of Hope Children’s Home for girls has been established by Art of Living Foundation/ Sri Lanka in Batticaloa (Eastern Sri Lanka). The project provides living, learning and sports facilities to less- privileged children.
The Art of Living Village of Hope is a girls home in Batticalo which provides livelihood and support to 45 girls. They are housed in very well maintained cottages and each home has a mother who takes care of th e childs need. The campus is serene and beautiful and provides right ambience for children to grow up holistically. Every- day they do meditation and yoga practices. Evening prayers include bhajans and knowledge sheet reading from ancient scriptures. The children have a play area for recreation and separate teacher comes for teaching english language to the children. Nutritious vegetarian food is provided to them. Extra tuitions and hobby classes are also provided to awaken multi talents in these children. The premises is secured with security staff, lady cook and administrative staff.
