BHUBANESWAR: Spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar here on Monday said the growing incidents of terrorism in the world can be attributed to lack of proper education.
Talking informally to mediapersons at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in the city, Gurudev said, "Spiritual education can stop people from taking the extreme path."
The spiritual leader lauded the role of security and intelligence agencies in nabbing suspected al-Qaida operative Abdul Rehman from Cuttack district.
He was in the city to address the zonal meet of Indian apex members of the Art of Living for the forthcoming World Culture Festival (WCF) scheduled from March 11 to 13 in New Delhi and a satsang on the Sri Sri University campus. tnn
