Seva Day on the Occasion of Gurudev's Birthday - May 2011
For the occasion of Gurudev's Birthday, AOL teachers, volunteers and devotees organised a 'Seva' day to help under priviledged families in a remote village called 'Panchavati' in the north of the island.
On Sunday 22nd May 2011, after attending long kriya follow up at Goodlands, a team of AOL teachers, volunteers and devotees headed for Panchavati to distribute boxes of foodstuffs to the needy families. Donations collected during Gurudev's Birthday Ceremony were used to purchase the basic commodities like foodstuffs and school materials for the families, who were very happy to welcome us.
