On the occasion of 56th Birthday Celebration of our Founder Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar jee, the Art of Living Nepal is organizing a Concert entitled “MUSIC for PEACE” on 13th of May, 2012 (Baisakh 31, 2069; Sunday) in the evening hours between 4.30 to 6.30 PM at Bankali Ground, Pashupati.
 
“Music takes you from words to silence, from shabd to nishabd, thus helping to create a calm and meditative state of mind. Spirituality and music, together, can uplift people, get them out of depression and help them start a new life with enthusiasm. For a stress-free life, you have to embrace both these facets. The aim is to come together to uplift consciousness - through meditation, talks, togetherness, celebration, and through song and dance…..” Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar.
 
More than 50 young musicians will perform to vividly spread the message “ONE WORLD FAMILY - "Vasudev Kutumbakam".
Along with enchanting music, guided meditation in Guruji's voice (Audio) will be the other attraction of the event.
 
A MEGA Blood DONATION Program will also take place the same day at The Art of Living Nepal, Dil Niwas, Chhakku Baku Marg, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal from 9:00 am - 1:00pm.
