What is the Sudarshan Kriya®?
This is the main breathing technique taught in most of our programs: Art Excel, YES (children and youths learn special versions of Sudarshan Kriya for their age groups), YES+, Part 1. It was created by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in 1982 and has given deep relaxation to millions of people worldwide. The Sudarshan Kriya is such an effective relaxation technique that is used in programs for those suffering the greatest stresses imaginable – even people suffering trauma after natural disasters and wars. Part of the Art of Living programs is a set of daily relaxation exercises, which course graduates take home with them, including a home version of the Sudarshan Kriya.
