Harness the Power of Yogic Wisdom with Sanyam
The Sanyam course offers a deep and immersive journey into the full practice of yoga. Throughout the course, we will explore the eight limbs of yoga, engaging in study, practice, and spiritual experience to truly integrate its essence.
Yama
Attitudes toward the environment. These are guidelines for interacting with the external world, helping us cultivate a harmonious life that supports our spiritual journey.
Niyama
Attitudes towards the inner self. It helps us eliminate the negativity we hold within and transform our habits and thoughts, allowing us to fully enjoy the present moment.
Asana
Asana is more than just physical—it helps develop awareness and prepares the body for deeper meditation. Equilibrium at the physical level enables balance at the mental, intellectual, and, ultimately, spiritual level.
Pranayama
Finding a centre through breathwork. When we break the movement of the breath by consciously breathing long breaths with counts while paying attention to different parts of the body, it clears impurities from the mind.
Pratyahara
Aligning the senses towards the inner self. This is a state when the senses don’t engage with the external environment instead turning inwards towards the consciousness. In this state, it is easier to control the senses.
Dharana
Gaining control over concentration. In this state, you observe your mind becoming still. An outcome of meditation is concentration. In the meditate state, you also achieve deep rest which leads to samadhi.
Dhyana
Finding deep rest and connection through meditation. In this state, you observe your mind becoming still. An outcome of meditation is concentration. In the meditate state, you also achieve deep rest which leads to samadhi.
Samadhi
The ultimate state of being- bliss. This is the ultimate state of consciousness. It is a transcending thought. You are only aware of your Self and are connected to your true nature – love, joy, and strength. This is the ultimate goal that we seek to achieve in life.
What Our Participants Have to Say
On this course your consciousness is taken out, shaken out, cleared, all unnecessary things and blocks are removed. Then they ‘put it back in’ and you feel like a newborn with a clear mind and uncluttered consciousness. With love and belonging.
I am very pleased with the course. It helped me to differenсiate between energetic body and consciousness. Swamis chanting was like palming my soul. I loved the self study to confirm what I knew at some level, but hadn’t taken action. Yoga Sutras were presented in a simple, logical manner that are easy to follow. Thank you all who made that course possible!
The Sanyam course is a deep dive into myself, very deep meditations in which I fell into and there were no thoughts, no feelings, only depth. It is knowledge, the application of which in life will make life easier and more qualitative and beautiful. This is the wisdom and grace of the Master, love and gratitude.
