Why do you want to change someone else’s nature? If you want to change someone’s nature because what they are doing is troubling you, then it is never going to change! However, if we wish that they change their nature because it will harm them, if this is our perspective, then there definitely is a possibility of change.
Why is it that people are unable to bring about a change in another person's behavior? This is because they are caught up with themselves. If you say, ‘Change for me’ then nobody is going to change.
Why or how is it that only a Guru can bring about a change in a person? It is because a Guru never wants anything for himself. A Guru wants transformation in someone only because what the person is doing is harming himself or herself. A Guru looks at people with this compassionate perspective which is why people transform when they come to Him.
Yes, the consciousness is a field of all possibilities. When something happens in the gross, it is because there is something happening in the subtle field also.
There are three levels of consciousness; the gross body, the subtle body and the causal body.
At the causal body level, there is only one light, one formless divinity.
At the subtle body level, there are angels, devis, devatas, and asuras.
At the gross level, there is all that you can perceive through your eyes, and ears.
When our consciousness alters, one can access the subtle realm of the universe. I have spoken about the levels of consciousness or spirits in Kena Upanishad and Kato Upanishad.
Darshan is always from the subtle level only. It is not on the causal level, at the causal level, there is no two.
Remember one thing, meditation helps you to be more happy and enthusiastic. Have you seen babies? Sometimes they don’t want to eat food? If they don’t eat, won’t they become weak? Then the mother forces the baby to eat food. Similarly, children don’t want to brush their teeth, but the mother forces them to brush their teeth. This is to ensure that they have good teeth. So that is dental hygiene. Similarly, meditation is mental hygiene!
What happens when you meditate? You become sharper, happier, and intuitive. Don’t you want to have intuition? Don’t you want the right thought to come to you at the right time? Never mind if you are getting bored, later on you will find it addictive. You will feel like you have to meditate; unless you meditate, you don’t feel that energy, that high! Later on, you will start enjoying it very much!
When you say you want to be motivated, it means you are already motivated. You don’t need someone extra, someone outside to motivate you.
If you feel that you don’t have motivation, it means that you want to be motivated further. You have already diagnosed the disease appropriately, and the best diagnosis is half the cure. When you see that your motivation level is down, it could be because of low prana. Increase your prana level.
Study with a buddy. There is a disadvantage also when you study with a buddy; in between you may start talking about cricket, movies or something else. The mind gets distracted, deviates to other things. Yet, in spite of these drawback, it is better to study with buddies.
When a person goes through misery, it awakens him, and then leads him to experiences knowledge. This is why it is called Vishad.
In Vishad, one keeps on seeing everything as not right. It is like a negative cloud that surrounds a person, it rattles them. These negative thoughts can come at home or at the work place. To move out of this negative space, you need some supporting foundation. And that comes to you from knowledge.
Absolutely! Just be on the track; keep smiling and serving. And you have choices as well. Whatever you choose, with a broader, long-term vision, I am with you for that.
