The New English High School run by Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha Trust was established in 1992. Rendering service to students around the area, the school did not have a water facility since its inception. In 2006, The Art of Living initiated the work of a borewell. Today there is a 137 feet deep borewell and water is in abundance.
Water has obviously changed the way the schools functions.
“This school has faced lots of hardships in the past four to five years. Attendance has been poor. By adopting the Anganwadi school for development under the 5H program, The Art of Living has made a great difference to every aspect of the school from the infrastructure to books and toys.” - Jayshree Jadhav, Teacher-in-charge
