Just be natural and accept people. Love is always about giving. Know that you have come here (on the planet) to only give love and not demand love from anybody.
Both approaches are fine, but one need not chant very loudly. When we chant mantras loudly and together in a group, then it is called as Kirtana. When we recite in a normal or medium tone of the voice, then it is called as chanting. And when you recite quietly or very slowly in the mind, then that is called as Japa.
This is because of greed. This happens because somewhere you feel that you are going to get some comfort out of that habit, although you do not really get anything out of it. It is just that greed for some joy or comfort keeps you stuck in the habit, but it cannot withhold you for too long. After some time you feel, “Oh, what’s the use! Let me leave it now for good”. Haven’t you felt this way sometime? How many of you have had this experience? (Many in the audience raise hands in agreement).
You feel that you have experienced enough of it, and now it is not of much importance, so you feel like letting go.
Do not be too hard on yourself. Take a look at yourself honestly. How can you say that you have not changed? It is impossible for you to have not changed. You are changing. You may be expecting a lot of drastic changes immediately – and that may not have happened. That may take a little while. So have patience. Patience and perseverance will make the difference, so do not give up.
There is a part in you that does not change – latch onto that. That is the true you. It does not change at all. Do not get confused with that part that keeps changing all the time.
I know what paristhithi (situation or a particular condition) means. I am not aware of this term. As per my understanding, Vayu means the air and sthithi means its condition or quality. For example, the quality of the air is quite poor in large metro cities like New Delhi. etc. Everyone is thinking how one can improve the atmosphere of New Delhi. Vayustuti is again something different. Just like there are different hymns sung in praise of different deities, the Vayustuti is a hymn of verses dedicated to the God of Air (or wind).
Yantras are like diagrams. If you open a transistor or a chip, you will see a circuit diagram on the chip. Yantras are circuit diagrams for cosmic energy, they are used for storing cosmic energy. It takes a long time to study these in depth. Today you will find many people who make false claims and advertisements saying “I make so-and-so kind of Yantras” and they charge huge amounts of money like 5 to 10 lakh rupees. I tell you, do not go for all these kind of things. Do not get caught up in such kind of fraud. There is nothing in that.
On TV today you will see all sorts of advertisements for these, such as one claiming to have a Goddess Lakshmi Yantra and it asks you to pay Rs. 5 Lakh for it. The people who make these advertisements themselves do not even know the science and the way to use these Yantras.
There are very few qualified pundits or spiritual people who are really qualified and have the correct knowledge of using the Yantras. You can of course purchase a Sri Yantra and install it at your home. There is no problem in that.
