Navratri FAQs
Gurudev is present throughout the nine days of Navratri celebrations at the Bangalore ashram. Gurudev is in silence usually for the first five days of Navratri and breaks the silence on the sixth day.
Ancient homas and Vedic pujas are conducted in the presence of Gurudev during the nine days of Navratri at the Bangalore ashram. You can see the full schedule of the celebrations and homas at the ashram here.
Coming from the airport:
If you are coming by flight, you will land at Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore - from there you can choose a bus or taxi to reach the ashram.
Bus
Just outside the airport, you will find buses. Take the bus to Banashankari bus stop.
From Banashankari, take either of these buses to The Art of Living International Center: 211ABCDEFGNPQR, 231ABCDEFGNPQR, 216ABCDEFGNPQR
Taxi
You can take a private taxi or avail the ashram’s travel service for cabs. Just call: +91-9886019292 or email at taxi@sumerutravels.com
It is advisable to call or inform two hours before the specified time. You can pay the driver directly by cash.
Coming from Bangalore City/Majestic Railway Station
Bus
Outside the railway station, there is the Majestic Bus Station from where you can catch a bus to Banashankari. You will get buses from the Banashankari bus stop to The Art of Living International Center. The bus numbers are: 211ABCDEFGNPQR, 231ABCDEFGNPQR, 216ABCDEFGNPQR
From the railway station to Banashankari, you can take any of these buses: 12, 14A, 14B, 21E, 21EA, 21Z, 21ZA, 211B, 211F, 215B, 215I, 215J, 215M
