YouTube Features The Art of Living Channel as a Live Streaming Option

“Chanting of the Bhagavad Gita” is offered as a featured live stream in YouTube’s curated programs

Technology has given spirituality an online boost when recently YouTube began featuring Art of Living’s “Chanting of the Bhagavad Gita” program on its live stream website, www.youtube.com/live. This program began after YouTube.com announced the launch of a new live streaming service for selected partners. The Art of Living TV has been a YouTube partner since late 2009.

The new live stream feature will be used to promote nonviolence, peace messages, online live meditations and live satsangs with Gurudev from across the world. “Technology has made the world into a global village, spirituality has made it into a family,” says Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder, The Art of Living. “The purpose of technology is to comfort human beings.”

With a wide range of videos ranging from service projects, events from Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s recent tours, courses and lifestyle tips, The Art of Living TV is a virtual haven of spiritual wisdom.

The Art of Living TV uses technology to reinforce the organization’s focus on reaching out to people, encouraging greater participation in positive social transformation, and globalizing spirituality and human values.
