Hygiene Projects
Overview
Achieving and maintaining good health is challenging where there are inadequate sanitatory practices and a lack of clean drinking water facilities. 5H volunteers help create vital awareness about hygiene through various awareness programs. They help in:
- finding and providing clean drinking water
- developing clean surroundings and a garbage disposal system
- organizing camps on personal hygiene
- creating drainage and sanitation awareness
The 5H volunteers inspire participants of the program to take responsibility for their surroundings by initiating clean-up drives, and initiating other projects as per the need of the region.
