You've all received blessings in abundance, so feel the abundance. First of all it is a big fortune to be born as a human being. Among the so many species on the planet, to be born as a human being is a blessing in itself. And having been born as a human being, getting into knowledge is a greater blessing. Just imagine you are just a human being and you have no knowledge of any sort. What life would have been? Knowledge is a big blessing. And having knowledge, having a path is the greatest blessing. Today is the day to remember how lucky we are and feel happy. Know that there is no dearth for grace; there is no dearth for miracles in life; there is no lack of any sort. Knowing this we simply march forward. That is Guru Purnima.
There are two types of knowledge.
1. Shiksha. Shiksha means education.
2. Another is Diksha. Diksha means initiation. Initiating, opening the door to infinity is Diksha.
Information is shiksha. There's a shiksha guru - a guru who gives you knowledge. Another Guru, who with vibrations, opens your door to another realm. That is diksha guru. You have both shiksha and diksha.
There are great scholars, intellectuals but they are not deekshik - they are not initiated into infinity, to another realm of vibration.
And the mantras take you to a level of consciousness, which is called atarkya. Atarkya means beyond logic. Not illogical, but beyond logic. Anything that is from beyond logic is what you call as wonder, miracle, and so life is initiated into an arena of wonder, of beauty.
