The Chairman of Peace Foundation Fayaz Ahmad Bhat has appreciated Gurudev Sri Sri Shankar & meeting Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at his Nigeen Residence for ensuring peace in Kashmir.
In a statement issued to KNS, he said that Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has remained patron of Peace foundation for last 3 decades and always tried to create atmosphere of peace in Kashmir.
He has even shared his stage with S A Geelani also for pursuit of peace in Kashmir.
Fayaz Ahmad Bhat said that on his visit to Kashmir Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has himself observed that the radicalism in Kashmir has increased due to marginalising effective NGO who played Nationalist role and worked for peace.
Radha Kumar, Dilip Padhawnkar, M.M Ansari, Kuldeep Nair, Justice Rajandar Sachar, Ramesh Yadav, Late Di Di Nirmala Desh Panday, Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav, Ramjethmalani, Syed Imam Bukhari, Swami Agniwash, Lte Padamabushan Balraj Puri, Sheikh Ab Rehman and others were real Indian but played role for peace on Peace Foundation platform.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee gave indo Pak thrust on peace foundation & other related platforms. J&K scouts & Guides brought youth under discipline criteria. Even congress which created Bharat scout also advised them to play role for peace.
He said that Shri Ravi Shankar dedicated itself for peace and tranquillity in Kashmir.
