Cashew Milk

Did you know that cashew milk is a great alternative to dairy and can easily provide a creamy texture to many vegan dishes? This milk is very close to the real thing besides offering a wide variety of health benefits as well. The best part is that it is a breeze to make!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of unsalted cashews
  • 2 - 5 cups of water

Preparation:

  • Blend the cashews in the blender with the water at high speed.
  • You may add some unsweetened vanilla or agave nectar if you want the sweetened version

Tips:

  • Cashew is a great source of protein
  • Cashew has healthy fats beneficial for the heart
  • Cashew is also high in magnesium content which is good for bone health
