This is with reference to misleading reports published in various publications/ news portals:
- Regarding contempt notice issued to Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar by NGT -- We would like to vehemently state & clarify that NO notice of contempt has been issued to Gurudev by the NGT.
We request that such false damaging news is first verified with the Art of Living BEFORE being published as it misinforms and builds completely distorted opinion. - The NGT has not imposed any fine on the organization. They have made it clear that it's an 'environmental compensation' and NOT a penalty or fine as falsely reported. Both are governed under different acts. In your future reports request you to refer to it correctly as compensation.
