We all want to get rid of discomfort, but how? Yoga may be the key.
My favourite among the 196 Patanjali Yoga Sutras is “STHIRA SUKHAM ASANAM”. That which is stable and comfortable is an asana. As I go deeper into my practice, I aim to find stability with a good foundation while releasing tension and surrendering my body. This is not only happening on the mat but also off it. Life is happening through this sutra. Taking the focus off the aches and pains and accepting everything as it is, holding on to the discipline without effort. It is the intention that moves me forward. The purpose of the asana is to feel infinity. "Prayatna shaithilya" The purpose of our whole life is that. And feeling like this goes against duality, it roots out our conflicts. That is, "Dvandva anabhighatah".
That is yoga for me. It has opened my eyes, my head, but most importantly – my heart. There is no turning back. The 200hs YOGA TTC was a breathtaking experience for me. From heart to heart, I tell you: take it. There is no way of explaining how life-changing this program is. Experiencing it with your own mind, body, and soul is what is left for you. Yoga is union, and it shows you the truth that cannot be explained but felt.
Thanks for everything. Lots of love.
