How yoga improved my overall
health & life

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected almost all the people in the world either physically, psychologically, or financially. Everybody is stressed. A slight cough, fever, or sore throat pain, and we suspect we have the Covid-19 infection!

Benefits of yoga in my life

I was no exception to this, but as I am a pharmacist, I know how yoga changes our body’s physiology, acts on nerves, improves muscle tone, and acts positively on endocrine glands.

So I started with yoga, pranayama, and meditation a few months back. Here are the results:

  1. My anxiety has reduced

  2. Immunity has improved

  3. Muscle tone has improved

  4. Negative and irrational thoughts have reduced

During the lockdown, I could not go for walks, so my weight started increasing but the practice of yoga helped me control my food intake, and my weight started reducing.

Changes yoga inspired in my life

I started devoting some time towards my childhood hobby of painting and craft. I started making and gifting handcrafted articles for my family and friends on their birthdays. Every day I followed guided meditations by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for yoga, pranayama, and meditation. I have started getting up early in the morning. Yoga has helped me with all these positive changes in my life. Yoga has improved my lifestyle.
